The Red Onion became an incredible learning experience for Eddie and he went on to open several other night clubs. During this time, Eddie also supported the local film, music and fashion industry, participating at various levels with local TV show and movie production companies in addition to some fashion and print modeling production companies. Eddie went on to help open an acting and talent development agency in San Diego and produced several "casting events" bringing LA production companies to San Diego to cast the local talent in their productions in large career-fair like events for the talent industry. Eddie taught acting and helped new talent gain the tools and learn the skills to break into the industry. Eddie co-created and was the editor for a tourist magazine known as What's Here Magazine as well as to co-host the accompanying in-room TV show known as What's Here TV.
